Social Democratic Party in Delta State has re-elected Comr. Lucky O.O. Ukueku as Deputy Chairman during the party’s state congress held on Sunday.

Reacting to the development, Ukueku expressed appreciation to the national and state leadership of the SDP, as well as members of the party, for the confidence reposed in him.

“I am honored to announce that I have been re-elected as the Deputy Chairman of the SDP Delta State Chapter,” the party chieftain said in a statement.

He pledged to discharge his responsibilities with integrity and commitment.

“I do not take this responsibility lightly, and I pledge to serve our people with integrity, humility, and dedication,” he added.

Ukueku also thanked the party’s National Chairman, the Delta State Chairman, and other leaders for their support during the congress.

“I sincerely appreciate the SDP National Chairman, the State Chairman, party leaders, and all members of our great party for their trust and support,” he said.

The congress forms part of the SDP’s internal political activities as parties across the country continue preparations ahead of the 2027 general elections.
