The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Wednesday, February 13, 2017:

NORTHERN STATES: This region is anticipated to be under slight dust haze conditions with few places likely to have localised horizontal visibility of 1 – 3km in the next 24 hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 31 – 38°C and 12 – 20°C respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Slight dust haze conditions are expected over this region during the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 36 – 38°C and 13 – 25°C respectively.

SOUTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are anticipated over this region during the morning hours while afternoon Isolated thunderstorms are likely over Abeokuta, Ibadan, Oshogbo, Ado-Ekiti, Akure, Benin and its environ. The inland of the south-east will experience partly cloudy conditions while isolated rain showers are probable over the southeast coast. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 34 – 36°C and 18 – 26°C respectively.
