The Lagos State Government has announced the closure of Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, on Saturday, December 31, 2016, from 4:00 p.m. till the early hours of January 1, 2017.
According to a release from the State Ministry of Transportation, the closure which will be limited to only Ahmadu Bello Way, is to facilitate the “One Lagos Fiesta” event scheduled to hold at the Eko Atlantic City, Victoria Island.
While assuring that adequate traffic management would be provided, the statement regretted any inconveniency that the closure may cause motorists and commuters.
