Mr. Joe Nwakwesili, who is the chairman of the School Base Management Committee (SBMC) at Ozalla primary school, Ifitedunu, Anambra state, has begged the chairman of Dunukofia LGA, Barr. C.C Ozumba, to repair a fallen section of the school’s perimeter fence.

He made the appeal during the visit of Barr. Ozumba’s wife, Mrs. Okwuchukwu Ozumba, to the school for distribution of branded polo shirts to pupils of the school, who belong to the “Healthy Living With Nonye Soludo” organization.

“A large section of the school fence has fallen. And miscreants and vandals do enter the school premises through that space to desecrate classrooms with faeces and vandalize the school’s properties.

“There are no toilet facilities in our school. This situation has given rise to incidents of open defecation in the school.

“We are therefore begging the chairman of Dunukofia LGA to address these problems of fallen fence and non-existence of toilet facilities in our school,” Nwakwesili said.

Nwakwesili begged Mrs. Ozumba to convey their requests to her husband, Barr. C. C Ozumba, who is the mayor of Dunukofia LGA.

Mrs. Ozumba had visited Ozalla primary school to encourage pupils of the school to keep on participating in the “Healthy Living With Nonye Soludo” activities that do take place in the school, weekly.

She gave the school’s chapter of “Healthy Living With Nonye Soludo” organization a princely sum of one hundred thousand naira.

And the Dunukofia LGA mayor’s wife promised to bear the cost of Sophia Iheohakara’s schooling at Ozalla primary school for the remainder of her school years, there.

Miss Iheohakara had read the welcome address for Mrs. Okwuchukwu Ozumba, who visited Ozalla primary school, Ifitedunu, with perfect elocution, elan, and flourish.

Her splendid performance endeared her to the people, who attended the “Healthy Living With Nonye Soludo” event at Ozalla primary school, Ifitedunu.
