Renowned Islamic Scholar Islamic Scholar Gumbi dies from undisclosed ailment

The death has occurred of renowned Kaduna-based Islamic Scholar, Sheik Ahmad Sanusi Gumbi.

Family sources said Gumbi died in a private hospital in Abuja around 9:580 p.m. on Thursday, after battling an undisclosed ailment.

The sources disclosed that funeral prayers will take place today, after Juma’at prayers at Sultan Bello Mosque, Kaduna

Gumbi is survived by two wives and many children.
