The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Tuesday November 8, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Dust haze is expected to dominate the region with reduced horizontal visibilities of about 2-4 km over Sokoto, Yelwa, Gusau, Zaria, Kano and Katsina. Potiskum, Nguru, Damaturu and Dutse should have visibilities of between 3-5km. Maximum temperature values for the day are expected to be in the range of 34 – 37°C.
CENTRAL STATES: Dust haze is anticipated over Minna, Abuja, Bida, Bauchi, Jos, Lafia, Jalingo, Ibi, Ilorin and Yola. Partly cloudy conditions should prevail over Makurdi, Lokoja and Ibi. Maximum temperature values for the day are expected to be in the range of 27 – 35°C.
SOUTHERN STATES: Partly Cloudy to Cloudy conditions would be experienced over the Southern cities in the morning. Localised Thunderstorms are likely around Owerri, Ogoja, Ikom, Calabar, Yenagoa, Uyo, Warri, Lagos, Eket and Port Harcourt in the afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperature values for the day are expected to be in the range of 32 – 34°C.
