The Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano, has taken the ‘Think Home Investment Campaign’ to Anambra citizens living in Port Harcourt, Rivers State as well as presentation his scorecard.
The governor explained that his administrative blueprint that has placed the state in the map of prosperity and progress while persuading them to come home and help in the development of Anambra State.
The governor made this known at the Actech Arcum Event Center, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
He added that the event is part of the celebration of the state’s 25th anniversary which he decided to meet with them and present his scorecard of the past two years and seven months.
He revealed that his administration has attracted investments worth over 4.7b Naira in investment, “it is the vision hinged on four key development pillars and the twelve enablers that has charted a progressive cause for the state’s development and created activities that have diversified the State economy.”
The governor, who emphasised that the state is blessed with abundant human and material resources, said his government is focused on providing the right leadership that will galvanize the potentials for the benefit of the state.
The First Vice President of the Association of Anambra State Development Union, Rivers state Branch, Mr. Chibueze Okafor, commended the governor and his administration towards the development of the state.
While the Deputy Governor, Nkem Okeke, urged the people to heed the governor’s clarion call and come home and help develop the state. (Channels TV)
