The federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced the closure of a section of the Ibadan – Lagos Expressway with effect from today, Thursday, November 3, to Saturday, November 12.
FRSC Ogun Sector Commander Clement Oladele told News Express last night that the closure would start from 11am and would enable Julius Berger, which is rehabilitating the road, to carry out necessary repairs on the affection sector.
"There will be temporary closure by JBN of section of Ibadan – Lagos corridor by Sagamu interchange from Thursday 03 to Saturday 12 November 2016 to effect repairs," Oladele told News Express.
"While requesting motorists to exercise caution and adherence to tragic rules they should cooperate with the FRSC and other traffic officers who would ensure minimal discomfort of motorists during the period," he added.
