The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather conditions for today, Wednesday, November 2, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Sunny skies will prevail over the cities around the North such as Maiduguri, Kano, Gusau, Nguru, Sokoto, Katsina and Gombe. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 35 – 39°C.
CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy conditions are expected during the morning hours while isolated thundery showers are not unlikely over few areas such as Lokoja, Makurdi, Bida, Ilorin and Abuja during evening/night hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 30 – 35°C.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy morning is anticipated with possibility of localised thunderstorms over Calabar and Ikom axis. There are prospects of localised thunderstorms in few places over the southern region like Akure, Oshogbo, Owerri and Enugu including coastal areas such as Benin, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Lagos, Eket and environs in the evening/night hours.
