
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Saturday, October 8, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to sunny conditions are anticipated in the morning hours, while thundery activities are expected over Yelwa, Kano, Kaduna, Zaria, Potiskum and Gombe in the afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 32 – 37°C.
CENTRAL STATES: There are prospects of thunderstorms over Bauchi, Jalingo, Ibi, Mambila Plateau, Lafia and Jos in the morning. Localised thunderstorms are expected over the region in the afternoon/evening period. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 27 – 32°C.
SOUTHERN STATES: The region is expected to experience some localised rains in the morning, while there are prospects of localised thunderstorms over Lagos, Ibadan, Abeokuta, Oshogbo, Shaki, Benin, Asaba, Uyo, Eket, Owerri, Abakaliki, Onitsha, Yenagoa and Port Harcourt in the afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are likely to be in the range of 30 – 32°C.
