It was a night of music, fun and laughter on Sunday in Lagos as the Yudala Zero Gravity got off to a dream start. The maiden edition of the music blast turned out to a roaring success – with the expansive Landmark Event Centre in Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos, filled to capacity by a broad spectrum of music lovers.
Anchored by veteran comedian Ali Baba, the event witnessed rib-cracking jokes, spectacular performances by vibrant dance groups and, of course, the main offering – the Contemporary Music Blast.
The floor was opened by upcoming acts such as David Grey, Naomi Mac and Zoro. Then came superstar artistes like Humble Smith, Naeto C, Sound Sultan and Olamide. The audience yearned for more – many springing to their feet to rock to the sound as the stars belted out one hit tune after another.
There were also surprises, one of them being a thrilling performance by selected Yudala staff.
