Grammy Awards-nominated artiste, Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, is currently trending on Nigerian X after a video of his alleged father surfaced online, publicly seeking help.

The man, identified as Mr Fatai Odunsi in the now-viral video on X, claimed to be the biological father of the Terminator crooner and said the last time he saw his alleged son was in March 2022.

According to him, he has been abandoned by the artiste despite being paralysed after suffering from a stroke, adding that Asake no longer answers his calls.

He, however, appealed to Nigerians to come to his aid, stressing that he urgently needs financial assistance to manage his deteriorating health.

In the trending video sighted by Tribune Online, Mr Odunsi said, “I am the biological father of Asake who is into music. Babatunde Ololade Ayinde Mr Money, I am his father. I want you Nigerians to assist me. When this thing (stroke) started on March 29, 2022 that was the last time I saw him. Even when I call his number, he doesn’t pick up and I am fed up.” (Nigerian Tribune)
