Actor Hanks Anuku has reacted to reports of suffering from mental illness.

Days about, a video of the actor walking on the streets looking deranged hit the internet, fuelling rumours he was mentally challenged.

His colleague, Shan George, however refuted the rumour, saying he was okay. She shared a video of the actor on set with a few fellow movie stars.

But Anuku has broken his silence on the rumoured mentally illness reports.

He said: “I want you all to know that my love for Nigeria is real and it is from the most High God. But those who hate me can come out to my face.

“Stop writingcr@pabout me. If your family doesn’t have respect for Nigeria, then you better go to Jesus Christ for deliverance. Just leave me alone, please. I just want you to know that today is the 18th of November 2022 and I’m speaking live from my caban.

“Don’t forget it, this is not an old video, this is fresh from the heavens above to the earth below. Find Jesus and leave me alone,” he wrote. (The Nation)
