A new column known as Showbiz Xtra will debut in News Express this Friday afternoon, July 22, 2022.

Anchored by Veteran Entertainment Journalist Ifechi Okoh, the column, as the name indicates, will go the extra mile to serve readers stories on the showbiz industry which they will likely not get to read elsewhere.

Showbiz Xtra, according to Ifechi Okoh, who made his mark at The PUNCH and some other leading newspapers, “will go beyond reporting the ordinary to unearth the bizarre and what celebrities are doing behind the scenes.”

The debut edition of Showbiz Xtra will feature exclusive reports on music stars Zakky Azzay and Timi dakolo.

The new column will henceforth take the place of Maggie’s Blog on Fridays, meaning that Maggie’s Blog will henceforth appear only on Tuesday in News Express.
