Thunderstorm
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Saturday, July 6, 2019:
NORTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are anticipated over the region with chances of morning thunderstorms over Katsina, Kano, Yelwa, Sokoto and Gusau. In the afternoon/evening period, thunderstorms are likely over Maiduguri, Potiskum, Damaturu, Dutse and Nguru. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 32 – 35℃and 21 – 24℃respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Morning thunderstorms are likely over Kwara, Niger and Taraba axis. Later in the day, thunderstorms are anticipated over Jos, Yola, Mambilla Plateau and Abuja. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 29 – 34℃and 20 – 25℃respectively.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy condition with rains and thunderstorms are expected in the morning. In the afternoon/evening period, moderate rains are expected over most part of the region. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 27 – 33℃and 21 – 24℃.
