If the talks around town are anything to go by, then the prestigious University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) is fast earning a new image, no thanks to its randy male members on the staff.

The new accolade for the nation’s frontline citadel of learning is that of being a haven of rape. In a recent tweet by one user @akinde_ore, there is an allegation of an increase in the number of rape cases in the institution and no one is talking about it. The tweeter revealed a fresh case of two female students of the Department of Micro Biology who were allegedly raped by a staffer of the same school recently, among several other cases in recent times.

Methinks Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi should as a matter of urgency declare a state of emergency on the school before all the female students are forcefully impregnated and infected with deadly diseases by the very staff who are paid with taxpayers’ money to groom them.
