The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for Saturday, February 3 2018:

NORTHERN STATES: Moderate dust haze condition is anticipated over this region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 28 – 36℃and 11 – 20℃respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Moderate dust haze conditions are probable over parts of the region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 28 – 37℃and 18 – 20℃respectively, except over Jos where 28℃/13 ℃ day and night temperatures are expected.

SOUTHERN STATES: Early morning mist/fog are likely over Akure, Osogbo, Ado-Ekiti and its environs during the morning house while hazy conditions are expected to prevail over most part of the inland cities during the afternoon/evening hours. The coastal cities are likely to experience early morning misty/foggy conditions with prospect of partly cloudy to cloudy conditions over most part of the coastal cities during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 32 – 37℃and 17 – 24℃respectively.
