Scale of Justice
Two persons, Damilola Babalola,19, and Adeoti Saheed, 24, wereon Fridayremanded at Ilesha prison custody by an Osogbo Magistrate Court for allegedly breaking into and stealing from Living Faith Church along Osogbo/Iwo road.
The police prosecutor on the case, Inspector Fagboyinbo Abiodun, told the court that the two accused persons forcefully broke into the church on the 17th of February, 2017 and carted away the things in the church.
He said the things carted away included a fridge, 3 ceiling fans, 6 standing fans, 1 Plasma television, 1 stabiliser, a guitar, home theater and some chairs.
He added that the offences committed by the accused persons are contrary to and punishable under section 516,415,416 and 390 of the Criminal Code Cap 34 Volume II Laws of Osun State of Nigeria 2002.
In his ruling, Chief Magistrate Olusola Aluko ordered the accused persons be remanded at Ilesha prison custody and asked the counsel to the accused, Chief A O Olodo, to come formally for the bail of the accused persons.
He then adjourned the case till theMarch 10, 2017.
