The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Saturday, February 18, 2017:

NORTHERN STATES: This region is expected to be under the influence of thick dust haze condition (visibility of less than 1,000m) in the next 24 hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 27 – 36°C and 12 – 19°C respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Moderate dust haze is anticipated over this region with horizontal visibility range of 2 -5km during the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 29 – 37°C and 19 – 23°C respectively.

SOUTHERN STATES: The inland down to the coastal cities are also expected to be in moderate dust haze with visibility range of 2 – 5km in the next 24 hours. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 34 – 36°C and 19 – 24°C respectively.
