Dust haze, sunny and cloudy weather expected today

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Thursday November 17, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Dust haze conditions are anticipated over this region with poorer visibility values expected over Sokoto, Gusau, Nguru and Maiduguri axis. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 34 – 37°C and 14 – 21°C respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Sunny and hazy condition should prevail over this region throughout the forecast period. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 34 – 38°C and 15 – 22°C respectively, except over the city of Jos with 28/13°C.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy morning is expected over this region, but later in the day, the inland cities will experience partly cloudy skies. There are prospects of isolated thunderstorms over places like Obudu, Ogoja, Ikom, Umuahia, Owerri, Asaba, Warri, Lagos, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Yenagoa and Eket axis. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 32 – 35°C and 20 – 24°C respectively.
