Nigerian music star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has opened up about a moment in his life when he felt truly disappointed in himself over a fight he had with his wife, Chioma.

The star singer, who Is set to feature at the Coachella 2026 Music Festival along with notable stars like Justin Bieber, among others, stated that he was highly disappointed in himself.

The 5IVE hit maker, who recently tied the knot with his longtime partner Chioma, revealed that this was the only time he felt such disappointment in a long while.

In a throwback episode of the ABTalks podcast, Davido expressed regret over how he handled the situation, admitting that he could have approached it in a better way.

When the podcast presenter Anas Bukhash asked him about the time he felt the most disappointed in himself, Davido responded:

“Probably, when my wife, Chioma, first had like a little rift. I thought I could have done better because she is an amazing person. I think that was the only time I messed up. But I have fixed it.”

Reports indicate that the couple has faced several challenges in the past, yet they have consistently overcome them. In the interview, Davido highlighted his wife’s admirable qualities and affirmed that their marriage holds deep value for him. (Daily Independent)
