Singer Oxlade

Afrobeats singer, Olaitan Abdulrahman Ikuforiji, popularly known as Oxlade, has opened up on how his past escapades cost him endorsement deals worth over N400 million.

In an interview with Joey Akan, Oxlade mentioned how he had to pay a blackmailer some amount of money adding that seeing his grandma cry was the height of it all for him.

He further mentioned how the grandmother asked if he wanted to kill her, stressing that he had to go to a rehabilitation center in London as his mental health was largely affected.

According to Oxlade, he has cut off communication with certain ˜close individuals after the incident saying he learnt that ˜it would always be your own people.

It was a peace of mind for me when my escapades made it to the public because I was getting blackmailed. I paid the blackmail money eventually.

The sad effect was hearing my Grandma cry asking me if I was going to be the one to end her.

It affected my family and mental health, I lost all my four endorsement deals. It was up to N400 million, I went back into the dark, nothing really hit me, not until my grandma asked if I wanted to kill her. I went to London for rehabilitation, he said.

The Nation reported that Oxlades s3x tape was leaked by an unknown person on social media. (The Nation)
