Singer Bella Shmurda has explained anxiety is the reason he quit smoking marijuana.

Bella Shmurda said he stopped smoking weed four years ago because he was scared of the future.

He however said he smokes cigarettes and takes liquor.

He stated in contrast to assertions that marijuana use fosters creativity, it wasnt the case with him.

Bella Shmurda, in the latest episode of the ˜In My Opinion podcast said: I dont smoke igbo [weed]. I used to but I started having anxieties smoking weed. I started getting scared of the future.

So, four years ago, I stopped smoking weed. I just take cigarettes and liquor.

Everything I was doing when I was smoking weed, I was having anxieties. At a point, it was affecting me in the studio. I would just be lost in the middle. It wasnt working anymore. I just have to stop. That was earlier in my career. It wasnt helping. (The Nation)
