Egyptian skipper Mohamed Salah is the most popular person in Africa, having 98.2 million followers across social media.

Music star Davido, who is the most followed in Nigeria, is 6^thmost followed entertainer in Africa with 61.5 million followers across all social media.

Superstar Wizkid is second most followed entertainer in Nigeria and 9^thmost followed in Africa with a total of 42.3 million followers.

Comedian Mark Angel is third most followed Nigerian and 10^thmost followed entertainer in Africa.

A total of six Egyptians, three Nigerian and one South African made the list of 10.
