Renowned Nollywood actor and film producer, Adebayo Salami aka Oga Bello, has opened up about his health struggles with hypertension.

In an exclusive interview with the Nigerian Tribune, this veteran actor disclosed that he has been battling hypertension for over four decades.

Femi Adebayos father recognised that as one grows older, various health challenges may arise, saying he has accepted this as a fact.

However, he conveyed his hope for divine grace to guarantee good health throughout the rest of his life.

Oga Bello emphasised that, in spite of these health challenges, he maintains the ability to produce and act in movies and intends to continue doing so.

He said: At this age, I still have the ability to produce and act in movies. In fact, I just finished producing my movie. It is a fact that you cant attain this age and not nurse one ailment or the other.

I have been battling with hypertension for more than 40 years and I have lived with it. To God be the glory, I am still alive and well. I will continue to pray to God for grace to live the rest of my life in good health and happiness.
