Today’s weather to be cloudy, says NiMet

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted cloudy weather conditions over the central states of the country this morning of Monday, June 29.

The predictions are contained in the Weather Outlook issued by NiMet’s Central Forecast Office (CFO) on Sunday in Abuja.

It added that there would be prospects of overnight/early morning rain showers over places like Abuja, Jos and Lafia and localised thunderstorms over the region during afternoon and evening hours.

NiMet also predicted that the coastal areas would experience cloudy conditions with chances of localised rains in the morning and localised thunderstorms during afternoon and evening period.

It also predicted that inland areas would experience cloudy conditions with expected chances of localised thunderstorms during afternoon and evening hours.

NiMet predicted that Northern states would experience partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with chances of localised thunderstorms over the southern parts of the region during the afternoon and evening hours. (NAN)
