Imo SSG thanks compatriots over appointment

The Secretary to the Government of Imo State, Sir Jude Ejiogu, has expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the good people of the state for the massive love and affection they showed him since his new appointment and swearing in.

He stated this in a release signed by his Special Assistant on Media, Mr. Ikenna Onuoha, a copy of which was made available to newsmen in Owerri.

Sir Ejiogu maintained that the number of congratulatory letters in form of text message, newspaper publication, and by mail received in commemoration for his new appointment has made him to understand the level of love the people of the state have for him, assuring them of his total commitment to continue to work for the good of the state.

He expressed his sincere gratitude to all media establishments in the state and beyond for their cooperation and partnership, which, he said, enabled the people who were uninformed of his giant strides to have access to his scorecards.

The statement reads in part: “I am overwhelmed by the level of encomiums poured on me by the good people of the state especially, the Media Houses due to the role I have been playing in the sustenance of good governance which our amiable Governor Rochas Okorocha practices. Your congratulatory messages have re-awakened my strong passion to continue to do good, having seen that it pays to do good, as demonstrated by your commendations.

“May I humbly assure you that the trust you repose in me will always be sustained without any taint. Be rest assured that I will not disappoint you in my new position as Secretary to the Government of Imo State, since I did not disappoint in my previous positions.”

Sir Ejiogu thanked Governor Okorocha for giving him another opportunity to serve in a higher capacity, and expressed optimism that the second tenure of the Rescue Mission Government would engender more transformation, appealing to the good people of the state to continue to remain steadfast.
