Cloudy weather
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Thursday, June 20, 2019:
NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy conditions are anticipated over this region with chances of thunderstorms over Katsina, Kano, Sokoto, Yelwa, Gusau and Zaria axis during the morning hours. Later in the day, partly cloudy conditions are expected over this region with chances of thunderstorms over Maiduguri. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 37 – 38℃and 23 – 26℃respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy conditions are likely over this region with chances of morning thunderstorms over Jos, Abuja, Mambilla Plateau, Minna, Lafia and Kaduna. Later in the day, there are better chances of thunderstorms over Bauchi, Jos, Kaduna, Yola, Lafia, Makurdi, and Mambilla Plateau during the Afternoon/Evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 30 – 37℃and 20 – 26℃respectively.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected with chances of morning rains over Abeokuta, Akure, Ijebu Ode, Lagos, Calabar, Eket Port-Harcourt, Ikom and Abakaliki. In the afternoon/evening period, moderate rains are likely over most part of the region. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 29 – 33℃and 21 – 23℃.
