Former presidential candidate of National Action Council, Dr. Olapade Agoro has proclaimed Yoruba land unsafe due to the increasing spate of insecurity of kidnapping, banditry, robbery and killings.

Dr. Agoro in a statement issued a copy of which was made available to Independent Newspapers in Osogbo said that series of cases of kidnapping, banditry, robbery and killings across southwest states have made the town and cities unsafe for habitation for people.

Chief Agoro who advocated for immediate convocation of Yoruba Elders Council Forum to meet and deliberate on the new trend of insecurity in the area declared that it is high time that the government of the southwest states take the bull by the horn in addressing the crisis before it consumes the entire areas.
