Hazy weather
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Monday, April 1, 2019:
NORTHERN STATES: Dust haze conditions are expected over the region with visibility range of 2 – 5km and localised visibility of less than 1,000m. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 38 – 39℃ and 20 – 25℃ respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy to sunny conditions are anticipated over the region with chances of dust haze condition over Ibi and Jalingo region throughout the forecast period. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 34 – 38℃ and 21 – 25℃.
SOUTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are anticipated over the region in the morning hours with prospects of localised thunderstorms over Lagos, Ijebu-Ode, Eket, Calabar and Port-Harcourt axis in the afternoon/evening period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 30 – 36℃ and 22 – 25℃ respectively.
