President Goodluck Jonathan is currently meeting with parents of the abducted schoolgirls of Chibok, Borno State.
The closed-door meeting is being held at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa Abuja.
The distraught parents were conveyed to the Villa at about 10:30am by four Abuja Urban Mass Transit vehicles.
They comprise parents of the girls still in captivity, parents of escaped girls, escaped girls and community/opinion leaders who are not direct parents of the girls.
The meeting commenced at 11.20am shortly after Jonathan, alongside Senate President David Mark, arrived.
The governors of Borno and Bauchi States, Kassim Shettima and Isa Yuguda respectively are also in attendance.
Top federal government officials and all the service chiefs are also attending the meeting.
Journalists were later asked to vacate the venue of the meeting which security officers described as strictly private.
