Flood disaster: Princewill extends helping hand to more relief camps

Philanthropist and politician, Prince Tonye Princewill, has made good his promise to extend succour to more victims of the recent flood disaster presently quartered in relief camps across River State.

After delivering aid materials to inmates of the relief camps at Ahoada East and Ahoada West through his Princewill’s Trust on Oct. 18, Princewill had promised to make similar donations to other such camps elsewhere in the state.

In keeping with the promise, he has visited the camps at ONELGA and Omoku, among other local government areas. Omoku is the town that produces the highest amount of crude oil in Nigeria.

Just as happened in Ahoada East and Ahoada West, materials supplied to the other relief camps include medical supplies, toiletries, bottled water, torch lights, fire wood, and clean water. Princewill Trust also took along medical personnel who attended to inmates of the camps.

Speaking through his publicist, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, Princewill, who is fondly called The Prince of the Niger, appealed to other well-meaning individuals and groups to also “identify with those in the camps as their current situation was not man-made but due to natural disaster.
