Hazy weather
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for Monday, November 4, 2017:
NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are expected over the cities around the Northern region, except southern Sokoto and Yelwa where moderate dust haze is expected throughout the forecast period. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 33 – 36℃ and 12 – 22℃ respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions will prevail over this region, except in a few cities such as Ilorin, Lokoja and Makurdi where partly cloudy skies are expected during the forecast period. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 33 -38℃and 12 – 23℃, while Jos is excepted to be 30℃/12℃.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy to partly cloudy conditions are likely with chances of mist conditions over Lagos and Calabar axis during the morning hours. Isolated thunderstorms are probable over places like Lagos, Ijebu Ode, Warri, Yenagoa, Eket and Calabar axis during the afternoon/ evening period. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 30 – 35℃ and 19 – 25℃.
