The Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the November 18, 2017 gubernatorial election in Anambra State, Mr. Oseloka H. Obaze, on Sunday congratulated Chief Patrick Sule Ugboma for emerging the consensus leader of Anambra North Grass Root Political Forum (ANGROPF).

The election was held in Osamalla, Ogbaru Local Government Area of the state.

Speaking at the event, Obaze, whose mother hailed from Ossomalla, commended Ugboma for accepting to lead the people of the zone in making the right political choices going forward.

He urged all grassroots politicians to focus on and support those who would deliver good governance and basic services to their respective communities.

The former United Nations diplomat underscored the need for robust development of human capital, affordable and qualitative education, and reducing youth unemployment in the state.

The event attracted grassroots politicians from across party lines from the seven local governments in the zone.
