Rain showers
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Sunday, September 3, 2017:
NORTHERN STATES: Morning rains are likely over Sokoto and Kebbi States, while cloudy conditions may prevail over the rest of the region. Cloudy conditions are likely to persist into the afternoon/evening hours with exception of Sambisa where thunderstorms are anticipated. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 24 – 32℃and 22 – 24℃respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Localised rains are anticipated over some central cities such as Ilorin, Bauchi, Yola, Abuja and their environs. Later in the day, thunderstorms are expected to prevail over the central states. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 27 – 29℃and 22 – 24℃respectively, except over Jos where 23℃and 17℃day and night temperatures are expected.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected in the morning over the inland states of the Southeast and Southwest with high chances of rains over the coastal cities. Later in the day, localised rains are expected over the region. The day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 26 – 29℃and 21 – 23℃respectively.
