A foremost human rights activist and National Coordinator, Osun West Peoples Assembly (OWEPA), Comrade Adeniyi, Alimi Sulaiman, has felicitated with the Muslim faithful across the country, particularly in Osun State and Osun West Senatorial District on this year’s Eid-el-kabir festival, advocating for peaceful co-existence among Nigerians.

He also enjoyed the Muslim faithful to use the period to pray fervently for growth and development, particularly, in the areas of economic and politics of the country, noting that life has been unbearable for the people of the country since emergency of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration in 2015.

Comrade Sulaiman urged the followers of Prophet Muhammed (SAW) to imbibe the lessons of dedication and obedience to Almighty Allah displayedby Prophet Ibraheem to sacrifice his son in obedience to the call of Allah which brought about Eid-el-Kabir festival.

The Rights’ activist who prayed to God to accept the Sallah as act of Ibadah, also prayed to Almighty Allah to make Muslim faithful in Osun State nay Nigeriato witness more of these Sallah on earth.

He also prayed for the successful performance of this year’s Hajj which is one of the Pillar of Islam, by the pilgrims to Mecca, and for the safe return of Nigeria pilgrims from the Holy land.
