Cloudy weather
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Saturday, May 27, 2017:
NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy conditions are expected over this region throughout the forecast period with prospects of localised thunderstorms in the morning over Yelwa, Gusau and Zaria. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 33 – 40℃ and 23 – 29℃ respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Morning cloudiness is expected over this region except Mambilla where prospects of isolated thunderstorms are expected in the morning. Later in the afternoon/evening hours, Abuja, Kaduna Jos, Lokoja, Lafia, Makudi, Jos, Mambilla plateau, Ibi and Jalingo have prospects of localised thunderstorms. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 30 – 39℃ and 22 – 25℃ respectively, except over Jos where 30℃ and 19℃ day and night temperatures are expected.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected with chances of isolated thunderstorms over Obudu, Enugu, Calabar, Ikom, Ogoja, Port Harcourt, Warri and Lagos during the morning hours. There are prospects of isolated thunderstorms over Akure, Ado-Ekiti, Ijebu-Ode, Oshogbo, Benin, Asaba, Lagos and some coastal cities of the South East during the afternoon/evening hours. The day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 31 – 32 ℃ and 22 – 24℃.
