Imo State Coordinator of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Marshal Okafor Anyanwu, has told President Goodluck Jonathan to beware of Imo politicians resident in Abuja who usually come to him to give him the impression that they influence the politics of the state when the reverse is the case. Anyanwu dismissed such elements as political maggots trying to “419” the President.

The APC chieftain, who spoke in Owerri, told President Jonathan to ask such people where they were in 2011 when the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lost the Imo governorship, and where they were when the party recently lost the Oguta State Constituency re-run election.

Anyanwu advised the President not to be deceived by politicians who do not even come home and have nothing on ground to back their claims. “These people are maggots who intend to feed fat on the President with nothing to show at the end of the day,” he stated.
