The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today,Tuesday February 28, 2017:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are expected to characterise the weather over this region in the next 24 hours. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 34 – 39°Cand 14 – 22°Crespectively.

CENTRAL STATES: This region is expected to be sunny and hazy in the next 24 hours. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 37 – 40°Cand 22 – 28°Crespectively, except over Jos where 33°Cand 15°Cday and night temperatures are expected.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy morning is anticipated over the entire region. Later in the day, partly cloudy to increased cloudiness expected to characterise the atmosphere over the inland cities with the coast expected to have localised thunderstorms. The day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 35 – 38°Cand 21 – 26°Crespectively.
