The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Monday February 27, 2017:

NORTHERN STATES: This region is anticipated to be in sunny and hazy conditions in the next 24 hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 34 – 40°C and 14 – 23°C respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: The central cities are expected to be in sunny and hazy conditions in the next 24 hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 34 – 40°C and 15 – 28°C respectively.

SOUTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy conditions are expected to prevail over the inland cities of the south during the forecast period. Whereas, the coastal cities are expected to remain cloudy in the morning hours while places like Lagos, Yenagoa, Warri, Port Harcourt, Eket and Calabar axis are likely to experience isolated thunderstorms during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 36 – 38°C and 23 – 27°C respectively.
