Cloudy weather
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today,Sunday, February 26, 2017:
NORTHERN STATES: This region is expected to be under moderate dust haze conditions with visibility range of 2-5km. Katsina, Kano and Gusau may have visibility of less than or equal to 1000m during the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 32 – 37°C and 16 – 21°C respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Moderate dust haze conditions are anticipated over this region with horizontal visibility range of 2 – 5km though some places around Zaria and Kaduna may have visibility less than or equal to 1,000m in the next 24 hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 34 – 39°C and 18 – 24°C respectively.
SOUTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy conditions are expected over the inland cities and the coast in the morning hours. Hazy condition will prevail over the inland of the South East later in the day. However, localised thundery showers are not unlikely over some places such as Lagos, Ijebu-Ode, Yenagoa, Port Harcourt, Eket and Calabar during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 36 – 39°C and 23 – 26°C respectively.
