The Osun State Police Command on Tuesday arraigned a 25-year-old man, Adeolu Kazeem, before an Osogbo Magistrate Court for allegedly damaging the chairs of one Idayat Opeleye.

The police prosecutor, Inspector Fagboyinbo Abiodun, told the court that Kazeem destroyed the chairs worth N120,000 sometimes in the year 2012.

He added that the offence contravened section 440 of the Criminal Code Cap 34 Volume II Laws of Osun State of Nigeria 2003.

The accused person pleaded not guilty of the offence and his counsel, Mr Nurudeen Sanusi, implored the court to grant Kazeem bail in the most liberal terms.

In his ruling, Magistrate Olusola Aluko granted the accused the bail of N50,000 with two sureties in like form and adjourned the case till March 6, 2017.
