Senate Spokesman Aliyu Sabi
The Nigerian Senate has condemned the recent xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa and subsequently called for a review of Nigeria’s foreign policy.
Senate Spokesman, Aliyu Sabi, while briefing journalists on Tuesday, requested the South African government to do all it takes to stop the attacks, noting that Nigeria played a major role putting an end to apartheid.
Sabi’s condemnation, however, followed the alleged killing of one Tochukwu Nnadi, a 34-year-old businessman by the South African Police on Thursday, December 29, 2016.
