Gunmen dressed in Nigerian Army uniforms have struck at the Abuja Legislative Quarters in the Nigerian capital, leaving at least four persons dead and six injured.
The attack happened at about 2:30 a.m. today, according to the Abuja-based Daily Trust, which reports witnesses as saying that the gunmen started shooting sporadically upon storming the quarters.
Witnesses also claimed that some identity cards of the alleged “soldiers” (gunmen) were found at the scene.
The Nigerian Police is said to have just arrived at the scene and evacuating people.
The identity of the victims is yet to be ascertained.
