
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Sunday, October 2, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected over Sokoto, Gusau and Yelwa axis, later in the day Hazy conditions to affect some parts of Maiduguri, Nguru, Dutse and Kano. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 32 – 39°C.
CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy morning is expected over Abuja, Kaduna and Lafia axis. Localised thunderstorms are not unlikely over the high grounds of the central cities including Abuja, Jalingo, Ibi, Lafia, Bauchi and Jos in the afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 27 – 34°C.
SOUTHERN STATES: Prospects of localised rains over the inland of the southwest and coast of Lagos in the morning hours. Afternoon localised rains over Lagos, Delta, Calabar, Port Harcourt including Oshogbo, Ilorin, Ogoja, Ibadan, Enugu, Yenegoa, Warri and Benin. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 31 – 33°C.
