It’s a privilege to witness Nigeria at 56: Senator Obada

Senator Gbenga Obadara, Chairman Lucinda Media (owners of Sweet 107.1FM) has congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of the country’s 56th year of independence being marked today, October 1, 2016.

Obadara in his goodwill message also called for a paradigm shift and a positive outlook by Nigerians.
He said: “Let us thank the Almighty God for the rare privilege of being alive. Once there is live, there is hope.
“We must start doing things a different way so as to achieve a different and hopefully better result.
“As a people, we need to start spending less. We must begin to say good things about our great nation, the obvious challenges notwithstanding. It is only a matter of time, Nigeria will be better.”
Senator Obadara further explained that “in the face of obstacles, it is very difficult to survive without a bruise. However, if we do not believe in impossible, that is what will get us through.”
“My fellow Nigerians, Congratulations. We will all smile in due course,” he said.
The senator, who was chairman of the Senate Committee on Privatisation and Commercialisation during the 7th Assembly, concluded with a strong conviction that things will get better saying: “Tough times don’t last but tough people do. Let us all stay as one. God bless Nigeria!”
