Rains likely today in Lagos, Delta, Calabar, Port Harcourt, Oshogbo, Ilorin, Iseyin, Ibadan, Enugu, Yenegua, Warri and Benin: NiMET

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today,Wednesday, September 28, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Cloudiness is expected to prevail in the region with chances of localised thunderstorms affecting Sokoto, Gusau and Yelwa in the morning. Partly cloudy condition with prospects of localised thunderstorms is expected over Maiduguri and environs in the afternoon. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 28 – 36°C.

CENTRAL STATES: There are prospects of cloudy conditions with chances of localised thunderstorms over Abuja, Kaduna, Lafia and Yola axis in the morning hours. Localised thunderstorms are not unlikely over the high grounds of the central cities including Abuja, Kaduna, Bauchi, Jos and Lafia in the afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 26 – 31°C.

SOUTHERN STATES: Prospects of localised rains/showers is expected over the inland and coastal cities in the morning. The states include Lagos, Delta, Calabar and Port-Harcourt including Oshogbo, Ilorin, Iseyin, Ibadan, Enugu, Yenegua, Warri and Benin in the afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 27 – 30°C.
