Music star, Davido, brought spotlight to Adamawa State on Wednesday as he paid a courtesy visit to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri at the Dougirei Government House in Yola.

He visited the governor ahead of his much-anticipated concert in the capital city.

Fintiri warmly received the award-winning artiste, commending him for his impactful contributions to both the Nigerian entertainment industry and youth empowerment across the country.

In return, Davido expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and praised the notably peaceful atmosphere he observed in Yola.

Earlier in the day, the state had rolled out the red carpet for the music icon.

The Commissioner for Works and Energy Development, Adamu Atiku Abubakar, joined other members of the State Executive Council at the Lamido Aliyu Mustapha International Airport to officially receive the star.

Atiku described the celebrity visit as a significant boost to the state’s growing entertainment landscape.

He noted that the concert served as a motivation for young, aspiring talents across Adamawa and the wider region. (Daily Trust)
