Popular Afrobeats artist, Tiwa Savage, recently made a controversial post on her Instagram account with an insightful comment regarding the Nigerian music scene.

Fans were worried about the singer’s safety when she posted a video of herself swimming with sharks.

Her subsequent comment, in which she likened the experience to navigating the music industry and asserted that the “sharks” in the industry are far more deadly than those in the ocean, attracted alot of reaction.

“Everyone worried about me swimming with sharks, but the ones in this music industry are way more f*cking dangerous,” she wrote. (Daily Independent)
