CENTRAL STATES: Bida, Jos, Kaduna, Abuja, Lafia, Makurdi Ilorin and Yola will have visibility values in the range 2-5km in dust haze. Few locations may however be less than 1,000m. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 14-21oC.
SOUTHERN STATES: Moderate dust haze is expected to prevail over Ibadan, Oshogbo, Akure, Enugu and Awka while there are prospects of partly cloudy skies over the coastal cities like Lagos, Port Harcourt, Calabar and Eket. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 17-25oC.
NOTE: During this period of the year, the atmosphere is usually very dry, windy and dusty. Citizens should avoid substances that may ignite easily to reduce incidences of fire outbreaks. Flight operations may be disrupted due to poor visibility in some airports across the country.
